The SPACE (Schools and Parents and Communities Engaged for African Students Success) program

ELWC partners with the Center for African Immigrants and Refugees (CAIRO) to launch “The SPACE program” that engages Somali and other African youth/families in the Beaverton/Aloha area students and families in educational and social services to increase school attachment, improve academic outcomes, and reduce barriers to school attendance and academic success.

Services offered in 4 schools: McKinley Elementary & Barnes Elementary, Five Oaks Middle School and Aloha High School
